Ranking

The Order of Merit is renewed every year and used for:-

a. Top ten at end of 2008 will be selected for England in match against Scotland 2009

b. Top ten at end of 2009 will be selected for England in World Deaf Golf Championships at St. Andrews, Scotland 2010.

EDGA Order of Merit is for for Golfers with handicap of 15 or under.

Most points can be collected from the EDGA National Championships.

The Order of Merit will next be updated at the end of May after the National

Championships. More names and details will be entered.

Points Allocation

1. EDGA National Championships - Final Gross Scores only

Points
1st = 25 points
2nd =20 points
3rd = 15 points
4th = 10 points
5th = 8 points
6th = 6 points
7th onward = 5 points

2. Points from playing in your club's competitions qualified for handicap purposes. Clubs Competitions - Monthly Medals, Captain Prize Presidents' Cup etc

2 points for playing under your handicap
1 point for playing level or over your handicap

3. Points from your handicap you finish the year in. Points will be entered at the beginning but will be adjusted at the end of year.

0 - 2.4 = 20 points
2.5 -4.4 = 15 points
4.5 -6.4 = 10 points
6.5 - 8.4 = 5 points
8.5 - 10.4 = 4 points
10.5 -11.4 = 3 points
11.5 - 12.4 = 2 points
12.5 -15.4 = 1 point
