About Us

The English Deaf Golf Association (EDGA) has served as the governing body of amatuer golf for both Deaf men and women. The EDGA was founded in 1983 and was also one of the starting member countries of the World Deaf Golf Federation (WDGF) in the early 1990s.
The EDGA is the oldest National Deaf Golf body in the World and we are very priveledged with our history in the Deaf golf world.
The EDGA looks after the interests of approximately 200 deaf players from all over England with all levels of hearing loss and deafness. It is a non-profit organisation run for the benefit of the game and its players.
